Marlene Rosaria Mafundza (Maputo, February 13, 1985), better known as Iveth, is a Mozambican singer. Music was a central part of her life since her ealry childhood, especiallly through her father, who at that time worked as a miner in South Africa and often brought her home CD’s. Ivethy grew up with the dream of being a singer, and followed this dream in her early teens. Her musical direction, Hip-Hop, was influenced mainly by her older brother and her friends. Iveth also follows a carrer in law, in which she also tramits her activism for gender equality.
