Matthew Haden CEO of 'The Recycler'
Matthew Haden is the founder of the Recycler, a company that offers professional waste management and recycling solutions for waste streams in Tanzania. The company has recycled hundreds of tons of waste with over 20 commercial contracts and multiple recycling collection points throughout the city. The Recycler is also developing insect-derived protein, waste to energy and informal collection networks.
Matthew has a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge where he learned about business, economics and developing countries. He first came to Tanzania to work with United Nation but he saw the need for waste management and the opportunity to start a recycling company.
