Kobi Little

Kobi Little is an experienced and trusted leader, problem solver and community builder. Kobi’s passion is sharing his insights and experiences to empower individuals, organizations and communities to reach their goals.

Kobi started his career as an organizer when he was a pre-teen in Washington, DC, participating in the Free South Africa movement and marching in the snow for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. At 15, Kobi was elected student government president at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School and treasurer of the Associated Student Congress of Baltimore City. The following year he was elected to serve on the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners.

Given the significant mentoring and opportunities afforded to Kobi as a student leader, he maintains a lifelong commitment to working with young people and developing student leaders.

Kobi has lived in Africa for several years and devotes his energies to development and security issues with an emphasis on Central, East and Southern Africa. Currently, his focus is on identifying and creating opportunities for Africans and Americans to embrace global citizenship and to collaborate on initiatives that foster social improvement, economic and political stability and environmental sustainability.
